Pre-construction covers a comprehensive detailed plan, review and analysis; along with evaluation of existing site conditions to eliminate extra cost variables in the upcoming project.
After a formal estimate, a pre-construction agreement is established. Our workflow is focused on ensuring quality and includes our specialty of services. While we are a general builder, our main areas of focus are Grading, Demolition and Excavation.
At McElhaney Construction Inc, we take an in-depth approach to bidding, allowing us to optimize costs and add flexibility. This allows us to open the door for client input and modification for every project.
After a formal estimate is made, projects with a total trade and materials cost of $100,000 and over are subject to a least 15% fee. For projects under $100,000, the overhead fee is at least 20%.
Please note: We require a minimum project value in total trade and materials cost of $25,000 for all new engagements.
